Personality

[Shy] Mumu is shy towards new people. Most of the time their voice doesn't want to work so they end up having to make small gestures to reply to others. As they warm up to you their shyness will quickly fade away. Most of the time they may come off rude or arrogant since they really don't know how to talk to you.

[Temperamental] One way to snap Mumu out of her shyness is to say something that really ticks her off. It's easy to make her angry by saying just the right things. Most of the time she tries to control to herself, though she may end up biting your head off.

[Stubborn] Once she has her mind set on something you will not be able to change it. She goes by her own ways and will not not anyone else stop her. You can try but that just leads back to her temper and the fact that she will bite your head off.

[Thinker] Mumu thinks before she acts most of the time. She likes to make up a logical solution to the problem at hand. She hates acting on instinct and figuring things out at the last minute. She hates surprises and needs to make sure everything will work out well in the end.

[Low-Tolerance] She tried to put up with everyone, no matter how annoying they are. Though she ends up not being able to do it for long. It usually depends on how close she is to the person. If they're a friend than she will be able to tolerate them more. Though people that she isn't used to end up just annoying her.

[Awkward] If the conversation starts to die, they will have a hard time trying to figure out what to say. This can lean to some awkward silence between them. Mumu may try to pick things up but it usually doesn't work too well. At times she may start to over explain certain topics.

[Logical] Mumu puts logic over emotion. She will try to figure out the right solution to the problem, even if it may hurt other people. If it's the one that will solve the problem and fix everything, that's the one she will do regardless if it hurts another.

Backstory

Mumu was an only child. She had a pretty normal life. Her mother was caring and like to help out anyone she could. She often walked around with her own Jinx as a partner to help out. As a small child Mumu looked up to her for this. She wanted to be able to help as many people as she could too! Her dad was a bit more on the opposite side. He was trustworthy and was able to get things down. There were many things that he ended up disliking and ranted about them to Mumu once she was a bit older. Listening to her father made her start to see things his way, which ended up being more logical. They would often debate about different topics at the dinner table, much to her mother's disliking.

In school she was a pretty average student. She mostly got As and Bs and took a great interest in Reading and Math. History and science ended up being the subjects she hated the most. The idea of escaping into another world by reading a few words was just thrilling! She could be a child trapped in a hotel, a detective trying to figure out the secret behind a piano, or a young man trying to build a tiny rocket from scratch. Obvious to say, reading was her favorite pass time.

She got along well with her teachers and other adults. It was the other kids that she didn't like. Most of them just annoyed her or she just couldn't talk to them well because of how shy she was. Because of this some of the other kids started to call her off as 'snobby' or said that she thought she was above them. Her temper only got worse and she started to make rude remarks in reply. Growing up through middle and high school, Mumu had only a handful of friend. She stayed out of the way of others and kept to herself, only showing her true colors around the people she happened to be used to. Those that were relentless on bugging her got the blunt of her wrath. Only if someone was getting bullied would she actually jump in to stop it.

Deciding on a career was hard enough. There were a few idea she had as she grew up. At first she wanted to be an author, but decided that she preferred writing as a pass time and would not want to make a job out of it. She though about illustration, but came up with the same conclusion. A math teacher would be nice, though she wouldn't get along well with the kids. She ended up spending more of her high school year thinking about it before finally deciding on a ranger. It seemed like a nice job where she could spend more time outside with pokemon and less time with people. Pokemon hadn't been a very big part of her life. Her mother only had a Jinx and her dad had a Mankey and Magmortar. At first it was difficult to find a partner, though she soon settled on a stubborn trapinch named Charlotte.
