[PTS] BB Prompt - Lost Littens

Mumu made a face as she turned to look at the wide open area that pokemon had run off towards. The grass was filled with nothing but itself and there were a few trees in the surrounding, but someone had already place tightly woven metal fences there to stop anyone from trying to get through the other side. At this point only a flying pokemon would be able to. Though that probably would no stop the hoard of littens that ran out and were trying to make a dashing escape towards the wilderness. If their trainer actually kept an eye on them then this would not have happened but it seemed like the detective was stuck doing this job for now. It was her policy to not turn down anyone that needed help, but dang it, if they actually knew how to do things then maybe this would not have happened before it did. It was already incredibly warm out for the day so that meant that if they decided to use a fire move to attack, it would really pack quite a punch. Mumu liked her clothing, and she did not want to see it smoldered away. Her friend would have a panic attack.

So for pokemon, she had settled on bringing her Skarmory along with her to help catch the little fire pokemon. Sending out a steel-type against them probably would not make for such a good idea, but her other pokemon were either quite small or slow. It was either the skarmory or Medicham and for now she decided on the Skarmory since she did happen to have an advantage with being able to fly up out of the reach of the pokemon. Once place they would not be able to send a fire attack would be right behind them either, so if she managed to grab them from behind then they would be rather safe for the time being if another did not come to rescue their sibling. If they did then both Mumu and her pokemon would be in some deep trouble for the time being and they might have to retreat and figure out a better way to catch the little pokemon. For now, this seemed like the best option for them so they would have to just go with it. Mumu was fairly fast herself so she was sure she would be able to catch one of the pokemon at least if not the others.

The two of them ran out into the field to try and capture as many of the baby fire type pokemon as they could. The crash gave way to the fact thatMumu was there, but that was part of her idea of how to capture the little rascals. Like she thought, they all looked over at her and seemed to be judging on what to do. Acting like they were in a pack, they all turned fully to look at her and crouch down a bit. The grass probably would have decently hidden them if not for the fact they kept their tails up completely straight up and gave away where they happened to be hiding. This made everything os much easier for her pokemon who was now high up in the sky and looking down at all of them from her position. Having a keen eye, she could easily watch her pray and instantly figure out where their next moves were going to be just by the way they were acting. Younger pokemon were always so much more predictable with how they were going to go about things.

The skarmory dove down towards the ground with it’s legs pushed out in front of its body as it was ready to catch the little cat pokemon in it’s talons. There was no sound as the tiny pokemon was picked up and hoisted into the sky. For a few minutes, all of the other ones were looking around, confused. It was as if they felt that something had happened but were unsure of what it was at the time. They seemed to shrug and turned back to Mumu to stalk her again. After dropping the kitten off in a metal box, Ura went back to pick up another one. This seemed to be the idea and it kept going until all of the kittens were captured again in the box. They were all brought back to their own. Mumu glared at the owner once more before turning around to leave with her skarmory.
